In this article we will explain which data you will need to send us in order to use Backhaul

First of all Backhaul can only be used if you have FD Live with data integration. Based on that we need information from your customers.
You can find the information (datapoints) which can be sent to us to use Backhaul in the following article under Customer data: Which datapoints are necessary to enable full functionality
BUT which data we need depends on which data you will need to work with the customer lists provided through the Backhaul packages.
You will have to work with those files in your CRM tool to send out the emails for the campaign. Therefore you have to take the following things into consideration to decide which data you have to send us:
- Which datapoints or information from the customer do you need to either match or import the files you created through Backhaul in your CRM tool? - For example for some of our clients it is enough to have the customer ID in the list, others also need email, name, etc.
- Can you exclude customers which are not allowed to receive emails due to data protection laws or other reasons by yourself through your CRM tool or do you need our tool to exclude those customers. If you are not able to do this through the CRM tool you have two possibilities:
- you provide us with this information through the daily upload (recommended!)
- you exclude them through Backhaul: Step 2 (Settings) in the set up - advanced settings - customers - exclude. More information on how to do that you find in this article: Advanced settings in Backhaul
