How to upload sales data in bulk?

Uploading sales data to your account in Future Demand is an important process in order for us to analyze, track, and manage your sales performance effectively.

To update the ticket sales for a specific event, we provide the possibility to update the real number by creating anonymous transactions to match the real sales of tickets to date.

Steps to follow when uploading sales manually: 

  1. Select the event for which you need to adjust the sales and click to see the insights. 
  2. In the upper right corner, click on the button and choose “Update sales”.

  3. Choose "via file upload".
  4. On the menu that appears, click the button. 
    You will get the template: sales_template.xlsx

  5. Read the instructions carefully on the first tab of the sheet template
     
     
    1. Enter the date on which the sales took place.
    2. Add the total number of tickets sold for that date.
    3. Add the total revenue generated from the sales added. 
    4. Select the ticket types sold. You will be able to select from the predefined options. If not sure, select “Regular”.
    5. Save your file
  6. Click “Upload” and you will see updated figures within the next 24 hours.

IMPORTANT:

  • All ticket sales data (from the first ticket sold to the last) should be uploaded in the system. Regularly update the sales data for events that have ongoing campaigns so that we are able to accurately assess the performance of your campaign.
  • Please remember that the upload of transactional data via file upload aggregates the data.
    Example given: on 1.09.2024 100 regular tickets were sold, generating 1000 € revenue for this day. 

    On 1.10.2024 you uploaded those informations to the web application. On 5.10.2024 you realise that on 01.09.2024 120 regular tickets were sold, generating 1200€ revenue. In this case, please add only additional tickets and additional revenue 20 tickets and 200 €. If you add on 5.10.2024 120 tickets and 1200€ the system will accumulate both inputs and record 220 tickets, 2200€ revenue for 01.09.2024.
