Which ticket categories does Future Demand use?

With sometimes hundreds of ticket category names used by each organisation, Future Demand relies on an automated approach to group ticket categories. This system is based either on the name of the ticket category (for reserved, subscription and cancelled tickets) or on the difference between the ground price (also known as the list price or face value) and the selling price (the price at which the ticket is actually sold).

Future Demand’s seven ticket categories:

  • Regular: Less than 15% off the ground price.

  • Regular Discount: More than 15% and up to 50% off the ground price.

  • Discounted: More than 50% and up to 80% off the ground price.

  • Subscription: If the provided ticket category name includes the keywords like "Abonnement" or "subscription".

  • Free: More than 80% off the ground price.

  • Reserved: If the provided ticket category name includes the keywords like "reserved".

  • Cancelled: If the provided ticket category name includes the keywords like "storno" or "cancelled" or is marked as “cancelled” from the ticketing system.
