Troubleshooting Guide - Publish Campaign Failed

When you have been notified that a campaign has failed to be published, it can generally happen for different reasons:

  1. You don't Have Permission for This Action

  2. Missing Payment Method

  3. Invalid or expired access key for Marketing Assets

Depending on the type of failure, these are the steps to follow in order to fix the issue and allow Future Demand to publish campaigns in your behalf:

1. "User doesn’t have permission for this action" when attempting to publish your campaign
If you encounter this error when trying to publish a campaign for your event, it could be because Future Demand lacks the required permissions. The permission error could be of a specific page or an account.

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Business Settings on Meta.
2. Navigate to either or all: Page / Instagram Account / Ad Account / Dataset (for Pixel)
3. Ensure that you have provided all the required permissions to Future Demand for publishing campaigns by using our Business ID: 394080014691557
4. Get in touch with your designated Account Manager, for him to republish your campaign.

It is recommended to ensure that Future Demand has all the required permissions beforehand so there is no delay in publishing your campaign

2. "Missing payment method" while attempting to publish your campaign

If you encounter this error message when trying to publish a campaign for your events, it could be due to the absence of a valid payment method linked to your Meta account. Alternatively, it may be necessary to update your payment method.

In either situation, make sure to add a valid payment method to your account before proceeding to publish the campaign for your events.

To address this issue, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Ads Manager Account on Meta.
2. Navigate to the payment settings section.
3. Add a valid payment method to your account.
4. Verify that the payment method is active and has sufficient funds.
5. Get in touch with your designated Account Manager from Future Demand.

3. "Invalid or expired access key for Marketing Assets" when attempting to publish your campaign

If you encounter an error for invalid or expired access key (User access key and System access key), the problem is that the person who is trying to connect the Marketing Assets does not have access to all of them or that it is expired.

To address this issue, please follow these steps if you use your own add account:

1. If you use your own add account please check if you have the permission for all Marketing Assets (Facebook account, Instagram account, add account and if connected the pixel).
2. Go to your WebApp Account and connect your Marketing Assets by:
- clicking on “settings” (cogwheel on the left side)
- navigating to the tab “Marketing Assets”
- if the Marketing Assets are already connected, please disconnect them by clicking on “Logout”
- click on “Continue with Facebook” for User access key and follow the steps
- if you want to grant access to your Business Assets, click on “Continue with Facebook” for System Access key and follow the steps
- if issue still persists then contact your customer success manager

To address this issue, please follow these steps if you use the add account of Future Demand:
