To make management of Meta Assets even more easier, the FD platform offers a new feature: sharing access key links.
To simplify asset management, users can now easily request help by sharing access key links. If you don’t have the necessary access, you can ask someone who does—even if they’re not a regular FD user—to assist you using the link. These updates are designed to improve the user experience by enabling seamless collaboration and real-time updates.
1. Copy and Share the Access Key Link:
Users can generate and copy an access key link in the Webapp Settings under "Meta Assets."
2. Send the Link to Authorized Users (users with admin rights) :
Those without access to the Meta Assets can share the access key link with someone who already has access.
3. Connect Meta Access:
The authorized user can connect meta assets directly by using the link.
4. Make Assets Visible:
Once access is granted, the user will receive in-app and email notifications. After refreshing the page, the granted assets will appear in the web app.
Advantages of Sharing Access Key Links:
- Quick Access: No additional logins or manual processes required.
- Flexibility: Permissions can be granted remotely by authorized users.
- Efficiency: No need for the admin to log into the web application directly.
