How to unlock additional clusters if there is only one Taste Cluster available

If you only see a single Taste Cluster suggested, it’s usually because your campaign or event contains too few details. As soon as you add more information to the campaign details (e.g. artists, program, more info in description text), the system can calculate more precise Taste Cluster and offer you multiple.

    Cause

    Insufficient campaign or event information
    Without a proper description or if it is an event without information like artists, program, genre, venue, or other parameters, there will be only one “standard cluster” generated but not more.


    Solution

    Simply enrich your campaign or event details in Wave with all relevant information—after saving, the system will automatically recalculate and make additional Taste Clusters available.

     

    Step-by-Step Guide

    1. Open Wave

    Log in to your Future Demand account and navigate to Wave.

    2. Select your campaign or event 

    Click on the campaign or event you want to update

    3. Edit campaign or event details

    In the top-right corner, click the settings- menu (three dots) and select Edit campaign or event details.

    4. Add missing information

    In the pop-up window, fill in:

      • Description
      • Artists
      • Program

      • and other relevant information


     

    5. Save/Submit and recalculate

    Click Submit. The system will refresh the available Taste Clusters. Please note that this can take some time (up to 2 hours). If you don't have a lot or no information regarding artists and/or program or other aspects of the events are important switch the Taste Cluster Creation to ITC2. In this case the description text you inserted will be taken more into consideration for the creation of the Taste Clusters. You can find more information about that in this article: Upgrade to ITC2

    Result

    After saving and waiting until the new Taste Cluster loaded, you’ll find a broader selection of Taste Clusters under Taste Cluster, based on the newly provided campaign or event parameters.

    Please note:

    If a campaign is already active or if you already started with the set up the campaign or event will not be updated. If you started with the set up save your text and headlines and cancel the set up. Only then the Taste Cluster will get updated.
