This article is relevant for: All subscriptions
You can create a single event in Lookout (only FD Live) or a single campaign in Wave (all subscriptions).
Here where to find it in Lookout (The button is placed in the same spot in Wave):
Please note:
- If you upload campaigns in Wave, they will also appear in Lookout (FD Live only), and conversely, events uploaded in Lookout will also appear in Wave. There is no difference if setting up an event or campaign in Lookout or Wave. But the view is slightly different. (see below)
- If you are creating an event for a campaign where you have artists and program either create an event in Lookout or move the event button (see below) in Wave to create an event.
- If you are creating a campaign for something else then create it in wave by simply using a good description in full sentences with the most important details of the campaign.
In Lookout (only FD Live) creating an event looks like this:
There are multiple fields which can or have to be filled out:
- Title: title of your event or campaign
- Description: here you can enter a description of the event or campaign. Fill in all important information for the event or campaign in full sentences.
- Category: click on the dropdown button to select which specific category the event or campaign belongs to, if not applicable, choose “Other”
- Date: date the event will be held or until when the campaign should run
- Time: time the event will be held or until when the campaign should run
- Avg. Price: if you have an event or campaign with multiple ticket or price categories sum them up and divide them by the amount which gives you the average
- City: the city where the event or campaign will take place
- Venue and Hall: where the event or campaign takes place
- Venue capacity: how many people fit in the hall for this specific event or campaign
- Artist Name: Name of the artist involved in the event or campaign
- Role/Type: Use the drop-down menu to select the role the person has in the event or campaign
- Author/Composer: Enter the name of the person who composed/texted the presented work (i.e., play, opera, music album, stage program, or similar)
- Work Title: Enter the corresponding title of the piece.
- You can also add dates or venues for the same event by clicking on "+ add dates and venues" if it is an event or campaign with the same details
- You can copy the event or campaign information from another event by clicking on "copy from another event". Further information here.
If you create an event or campaign in Wave (all subscriptions) it looks like this:
Only the following fields have to be filled in:
- Title: title of your event or campaign
- Description: here you can enter a description of the event or campaign. Fill in all important information for the event or campaign in full sentences.
- Campaign end date: Specify when the campaign should end
- You can move the Event-Button: Then you can fill in the same information as above in Lookout
- By clicking on "+add dates" you can add campaigns with the same description and title but for another date.
IMPORTANT:
The more accurate and complete the information we have from your event or campaign the higher is the probability that we target the right audience and increase efficiency of the campaign.
