Multi-Factor authentification
Enhancing Your Account Security with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Enhancing Your Account Security with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
To improve the security of your account, we are introducing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as an additional layer of protection. Soon, when logging into the Future Demand web application, you will be required to verify your identity using either an authenticator app or email verification.
Grace Period:
This change will come with a two-week grace period after Easter holidays. During this time, you can set up your app authentication from the settings page of webapp. If you choose email verification, no action is required during the grace period.
After the grace period ends, you will be mandatorily required to select your preferred authentication method.
What are the available MFA options?
We offer two ways to enable MFA:
-
Authenticator App
Use an app like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc. After enrolling, you'll scan a QR code provided in the web app, then verify the code from your app. On future logins, after entering your email and password, you'll be prompted to enter a verification code from the app.
-
Email Verification
We will send a verification code to your registered email address. Simply enter the code in the web application to complete the login. No additional app is needed—just access to your email.
You’ll have the option to choose how often you want to verify your identity—either at every login or just once a week. This can be selected via a checkbox during the MFA setup.
Please note: we can only remember one device at a time. For example, if you log in using Chrome and select the "remember for one week" option, you won’t need to authenticate again on that same browser and device for a week. However, if you log in from a different browser or device, you’ll be required to complete the MFA process again.
Switching between the authenticator app and email verification is always possible during the login process.
How to Set Up MFA via an Authenticator App
There are two ways to set up MFA with an authenticator app:
